This process involves filling a tank with abrasive tumbling media and then rotating it horizontally on a rolling machine to remove corrosion. This ‘sands’ the interior to remove rust deposits or pits. Due to the nature of tumbling, this process can take approximately 24 hours or longer depending on severity of cleaning required.
Costs are $50 + other necessary inspections (hydrostatic testing is recommended.)
