PREREQUISITES:
Student numbers: 3 maximum
Minimum age: 18
TDI Nitrox certification or equivalent
Side-mount certification if using SF2 in side-mount configuration
Minimun logged dives: 20
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
~8 hours of classroom study
7 dives minimum/480 minutes of bottom time
Entry level certification course for divers wishing to utilize an SF2 electronic closed-circuit rebreather.
Train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving with an SF2 eCCR.
Develop basic CCR diving skills for no-decompression diving to a maximum depth of 100 feet, using air as a diluent.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Complete SF2 closed-circuit rebreather
Sofnolime CO2 absorbent
Back-up CCR dive computer or bottom timer
Off-board, open circuit bailout system (minimum of 80 cu/ft)
Drysuit inflation system
Mask, fins and appropriate exposure suit for training environment
Wet-notes and pencil
Surface marker buoy (SMB) and spool with a minimum 100 feet of line
Knife/line cutter
Accessory equipment dictated by instructor and/or site conditions
SF-2 CROSSOVER, HELI-TROX CCR AND CCR FULL CAVE SPECIALTY TRAINING OFFERED AS WELL.
